  1. Thanks "Joe" very ingenious! Will have a look at the web addresses. Cheers Dennis
  2. Thanks. What mirror and mount is that?
  3. I thought it was a Longacre but they only have a fitting for attaching to a cage whereas "Caterham Joe's" mirror looks like it's attached to the windscreen using suction cups
  4. Hope you don't mind me trying to contact you but I've just watched your (very enjoyable) video on YouTube of the recent Taffia Fish and Chip run an I was impressed by your rear view mirror and I wondered where you got it from? My email address is: dscogs@hotmail.com Regards Dennis
  5. Hi Caterham Joe I don't know your name and have just watched your YouTube video of the Taffia Fish and Chip run (very enjoyable) and wanted to know where you got your rear view mirror from. if you see this I wonder if you'd be so kind as to email me please: dscogs@hotmail.com

  9. Thanks DJ I'll never be the quickest so I'll check them out
  10. These wouldn't make the car feel "over tyred" would they? The car's not the most powerful thing in the world.
  11. All weather but obviously mostly summer
  12. No Track = Touring and brisk blats
  13. Currently have Avon ZV3's on a 1.4K series and need new tyres. Want some advice on what I should fit next. Thanx
  14. I had a bleeper and a blue neon light fitted to the dashboard by my pet car electrician - within a week I was pleading with him to dismantle the bleeper as it was driving me nuts, I find the larger blue flashing light is all I need now to get me to cancel the indicators
  15. Got a very quick view of possibly a Seven in Pooley Bridge you were just about to cross the bridge, we had just crossed it heading out of the village. Sun was in my eyes but looked dark blue with a full cage. My car is in Prisoner colours
  16. Haven't got an oil leak on my K series but I have got erratic readings and want to replace the sender. As usual Caterham are out of stock, anyone know what make it is and where I can source another? Best of luck with oil leak.
  17. Thanks so much SM25T. Sorted thanks to your easy to follow instructions. Off now to pull up outside the two useless French Garages just to point at my dazzling brake lights. British solidarity triumphs once again in the face of Foreign adversity!
  18. Anyone know of a decent garage or mechanic in the Bayonne area of France? On holiday and have no break lights working. Fuses seem ok have no meter so can't test the connection in the peddle box but it is definitely making a contact with the switch. Was told to go to the local village garage where the owner took one look at the car and firmly said NON! Then when i asked is there anywhere else that might help gave me that gesture that drives me mad - the Classic French shrug of the shoulders!!! (God I hate that) Found another Garage and this one took a bulb out, looked at it for a while, put a new one in and then said NON! I was definitely an "Inny" at the Referendum but I am rapidly changing my mind. Any advice or address of a Garage especially if they speak English would be most appreciated.
  19. It's the same as the pic above
  20. Just chatted to my mechanic who tells me the one that is faulty is not standard as it is a single pin connection whereas the normal switch has three pins if that is any help
  21. Thanks Jonathan. I've contacted Caterham via email so might get a reply this century! I'll try the others now. Thanks Dennis
  22. Hi Need to replace the Oil Pressure switch on a 13 plate 1.4 K Series engine. Can anyone help with a part number/where I can get hold of one quickly as off to the South of France on Sunday!!! Cheers Dennis
