  1. Thanks for this, much appreciated. Just want to understand what you are saying is put the Mintex on the front and keep original pads on the rear. Cheers Dennis
  2. Want to change my front pads for some Mintex 1144's but have been asked what number are the pads I'm replacing. My car is a 2013 Classic with standard calipers and 1.4 K series engine. Any ideas what the number might be? Cheers Dennis Mechanical-Moron
  3. Thanks that's a good idea I'll give 'em a call Regards Dennis
  4. Does anyone have a spare fuel gauge as mine has come apart. Looks like the previous owner has tried to do a repair job on it using superglue. When I removed it it has a sticker on it saying Caerbont Automotive and a number 71250. Tried Caterham and as usual says they are out of stock. Cheers Dennis
  5. Thanks for the reply The mirror is the original which is less than 3 years old and has lost about a half inch of reflective material at the bottom of the mirror. I am looking for a wider angle mirror for road use and want some advice on which model/brand to go for. Regards Dennis
  6. Hi there. Need to replace the original Caterham rear view mirror on my car and wanted to be advised on the best wide angle to go for. I'm not too keen on the ones I've seen that clip over the existing mirror. Any help would be appreciated. Cheers Dennis
  7. Hi Paul The steering wheel is a factory fitted Mota Lita and is 290mm diameter Cheers Den
  8. Hi Jonathan I'm in Cornwall Anyone else? Den
  9. Do you have to send Rapfix your existing upper steering column for them to weld the release to? My local garage (not Caterham savvy) told me that any welding on a steering column was an MOT fail. I was hoping I could bolt something to my existing steering column (threaded top end) Cheers Den
  10. Hi all Just got my first 7 (at long last!) and need some advice on fitting a quick release steering wheel, as it's proving difficult for me to get in - and even more difficult to get out with the present wheel attached. I looked on the Caterham website and I see that if you buy one from them theirs comes with an upper steering column as well as the quick release unit but as with most things it seems on their site it says they are out of stock. Been looking on Demon Tweeks at alternatives such as Motorcorsa and Lifeline and want some advice which is the best to go with and will they fit onto my existing steering column??? Looking forward to any help and advice I can get. Thanks Den
