  1. 2009 Caterham 7 Supersport spec in super condition. Never seen rain. For sale is an ex academy car 2009 that has only been used for a hand full of races on 2010/2011 and a couple of track days. I bought the 7 of Spymotorsport as my Superlight was away and missed having a 7. The car has been upgraded to Supersport spec ( 140 bhp ) with dry sump. LSD 5 speed gear box. Wide track Brake bias Aero screens fitted passenger and driver Tillets 6 point harnesses Momo steering wheel with quick release. Plumbed in Lifeline fire extinguisher Caterham Superlight Alloys with Yokohama A048 I also have a set of CR500 and minilites for extra. Half doors. Overall condition is very good with a small scratch at the back and has never been used in the wet. Comes with full hood, doors and windscreen. Priced at £15995 Due to other commitments the car has been SORNED since i bought it and the intention was to get the car MOTed and use the car but due to domestic issues I'm sadly having to sell the car.

  4. CATERHAM SUPER 7 1996 £16995 why. Caterham Superlight 1996 build number 007 - rare to find an original Superlight in the same spec that left the factory with the exception of a carbon RiF aero screen The spec. hits the sweetspot for a 7 135bhp Supersport engine. 6 Speed c/r gearbox AP racing clutch. Wide track Adjustable Bilstein B1 suspension ARB Big AP brakes 13" Minilite wheels in black with diamond cut polished rims Momo steering wheel with quick release boss. Carbon nose cone, front and rear wheel arches, rare Rif aeroscreen, ( refurbed by Classic Carbon )and dashboard. Bare ally body. LSD ACE shift light. Half door FIA roll bar aka track day bar. Battery cut off. Uprated new starter motor ( Brice ) ( Seven and Classics ) New battery Upgraded radiator from a Superlite R ( PT SPORTSCARS ) Also fitted which were options from new - Carpets 3.3 kgs Full weather equipment including as new hood and doors. 8kgs Spare wheel and carrier - ( black minilite and diamond cut rim ) 28.7kgs Windscreen + Wind screen wipers ( has a crack ) 6.6 kgs. Leather seats 10kgs . Of course the above options could be removed to make the car lighter :-) The car weighs less then 500kg and engine produces 135bhp, or more as its been blue printed and has a 4 into 1 exhaust. Much expenditure ( over £5000 ) over the last 6 years including a complete new engine rebuild by BOSS racing, PT Sportscars, and Seven and Classics, full carbon refurb ( minus the dash ) by Classic Carbon. Known history from day 1..... The original owner, Ian Noble bought the car and did a few sprints and hill climbs and still has a passion for 7's, second owner Mr Steve Flemming reregistered the car to M17VEN in 2000 has now retired in France and contacted me to see if it was possible to buy the car back, the car was sold by Paul Glugston of UK Sportscars in Canterbury 2002 to the 3rd owner, a Mr Adrian Whitmore who had the car for 16 years and used it for touring. He had the wheels powder coated all black and the carbon sprayed black The car is as original as it comes and is now been restored back to how it would have left the factory - exposed carbon and diamond cut 13" Minilites. I have a choice of different wheels and tyres that will be sold separately. I do have a Sigma Supersport too and I need to sell one - basically almost the spec as the Superlight ( 140bhp, 5 speed, LSD, ) but only carbon front wings and no spare wheel, carpet and with Tillets and 6 point harnesses. Please DM for photos . Many thanks

  6. Bleeding brakes...... what's the best way to bleed brakes with a brake bias valve fitted ? Step by step procedure would be good Thanks And does the cap on the reservoir need to be off .
  7. Dremal . Have a set of new fiberglass for the 7 and makes cutting holes a breeze.
  8. I went through all this last year and it was a pain in the .... If possible get the old one rebuilt ! ! ! I bought a Brice but couldn't fitted it due to the engine block fowling . In the end I took it to Seven and Classics who machined/cut a section of the engine block so the Brice could be fitted. Jon

  11. Maybe a odd subject title, but I have a ex Sigmax race car that has never had a horn fitted. I have the push button and 5 or 6 terminals . Would anyone be kind enough to let me know what terminals are used, I presume it's the purple and black wire on the wiring loom and the other wire goes to earth. Many thanks Jon

  15. Hi Jonathan The Superlight has the lights but fog and reverse hang down. I;ve also just got a Sigma engine 7, ex acadamy. managed to fit the front lights , the connectors were taped up, so I presume the rear lights will also be taped up.
  16. As per subject. Currently have a rain light on the roll cage and thats about it. So I wondered how easy is it to fit a fog light, reverse light and number plate light ? Does the fuel tank need to come out ? Thanks in advance Jon
