I need a adapter for my oil pressure sender . I have a new M12x1.5 unit but my existing sender is M10 x1.(and no I cant change it) Hence I require a M10 x1 male to M12 x1.5 female adapter. Does such an adapter exist? . Also posted in Wanted Section-now looking for a wider audience.

Thanks guys What I thought would be a simple task is turning into a marathon. I only wanted to replace the k series sender as its readings are erratic, I have a stack sender fitted which gives steady readings, but I have to keep switching the stack unit through its various read outs to check. I thought having a reliable k series sender in the system would make life easy while driving. If I can't find an adapter I will just put the new sender with M12 x 1.5 into a spares box and use the Stack. Running remote from the filter housing- I don't want to go back to the housing with its inherent problems.

Thank Mankee I am using a remote unit with a tee piece, one side feeding a Stack oil pressure sender the other a k series sender which is M10x1, which I suppose if push came to shove I could strip out the T piece and tap to M12 x1.5. I will check out your supplier, it must be possible to get a converter.

Does any one have lying around a M10 x1 male to M12 x1.5 female thread adapter for use with Caterham OP sender, or can point me in the right direction to obtain one. Thanks

Simon and SM25T Both my units are remote mounted and not subject to impact damage. I agree that going mechanical is the way forward but I am keen to establish that my Stack unit is giving good readings

I am looking for a oil pressure sender for my k series, must be a good one, to buy or borrow a test mule. I currently have both the standard k series unit and a Stack electrical sender unit fitted. I would like to confirm which is reading correctly. The standard Caterham sender or gauge is reading low(I have a new gauge) Perhaps a member who has converted to a mechanical unit has one sitting on the shelf.

I have for sale a polished S3 K series full exhaust system with heat shield. No dings or knocks. Manifold is standard 4:1 inside body. Done 6000mls before being removed from my car. I noticed last night when returning from a club meeting that my LH bank of rocker swiches were not illuminated with the lights swiched on. I have tried swiching the units on and they still do not light up. I assume the diode in the switches may have failed? odd when its the hazard, fog and brake fliud giving the same problem-running on aero's the heated screen is not connected so I expect that not to work. Any ideas.
