F355GTS
Dave thee are nominal tyre widths but you really need to look at the manufacturers site to confirm tread width etc. for reference they are in cms for example 20/54 is roughly 8" x 21.25" o/a diameter, if these are the Michelins they wil be fine on 6" and 8" rim, I'm using the same after my Bridgestones are worn out Mark Edited by - F355GTS on 23 Mar 2006 19:50:
barry.h
If you go to www.avonracing.com you will find details of diameter, section, tread width, rim range and revolutions/mile for all sizes of slicks known to man. Barry
Petrolhead
If you go to www.avonracing.com you will find details of diameter, section, tread width, rim range and revolutions/mile for all sizes of slicks known to man.No good for Michelins Micheline (radials) seem to be in metric and Avon (crossply) in imperial ie Avon 7/22x13 are 7" wide x 22" dia running on a 13" rim (approx) Micheline 20/54 x 13 are 200mm wide tread x 540 dia running on 13" rims (approx) More info here I am about to try their slicks and wets (if its raining which it probably will be ) I went for 16/53x13 and 20/54x13 wets and slicks. The 20/54x13 may be a tad too narrow and I wondered if I should have tried the 22/54x13. I did buy, in error, some 23/57x13 which are huge NE7Club Web Site R5 no 65 😬 Edited by - Petrolhead on 24 Mar 2006 17:45:
barry.h
7/22 X 13 are crossplies not radials. The site gives radial sizes as well. Barry
