  1. No mate. I don't have a car that I can fit the drawers in, so you really will need to try and collect them from my house. Email me via my profile with your email address and we can arrange pickup and payment. www.R300.net

  10. Guy, I have no immediate plans. I'm toying with the idea of a cheap VW Beetle for the summer (1970 MY), just something to keep me occupied, but other than that, I'll be saving my pennies. www.R300.net
  11. Thanks Mark. I've spoken with Dion, he is coming to view and collect the car on 5th June. He has himself a bargain. www.R300.net
  12. It appears as though I have sold my car and hence will not be needing an airbox. Is anyone willing to take over organising the bulk buy? If so, I can email you the contact details for the guys at Pipercross. Thanks www.R300.net

  14. I thought long an hard about having a blackberry, what with being 'connected' to work all the time. But I can ignore emails over the weekend and just use it as a phone. The amount of travelling I am doing, I cannot afford to be out of touch for days at a time and it is not always possible to gain access to email via a laptop etc. I'm very pleased with the blackberry, a very cool bit of kit (I have the 8700g). I get to use the phone for free as well, which is nice 😬 Content Protection is Diabled, so not that www.R300.net
  15. I installed it on my car half way through a track day. I left it on for about 1 week, then did another full track day with it installed, left it on the car for two weeks at which time it was removed (so fitted, left on for a while and then removed). The car is stored in a cold garage, has the plastic fatigued? It was a very tight fit, I was of the impression that there was alot of strain on the plastic whilst it was fitted. www.R300.net
  16. that seems fairly consistent with my experience of fitting it. The box is extreemely tight agains the back plate, the plastic is thick and with the amount of stress in the box when fitted and the number of times it has been on and off various cars, I am not suprised it has cracked. I think the construction of the box needs working on. Peter, you might want to angle the hose more towards the top corner of the rad to ensure nice cold air into the filter, again, another 'problem' area with the design of the box. (it can of course be used without the trunking). www.R300.net
  17. I have a new Blackberry, I'm trying to get it all setup correctly. I have transfered all my contacts from Outlook into the balckberry complete with phone numbers and email address. When I make phone calls, the display shows the name of the person I am calling. If someone texts me, the name of the person texting me appears in the message center. But, if someone calls me, the phone always displays 'unknown number'. What is wrong??? I was hoping it would display the name of the person calling Do I need 'caller ID' turning on by the network provider? (I should note that the blackberry was working fine with just email for a week, but when O2 enabled the mobile phone service, they accidentally disabled the data content of my service (so at the moment the balckberry cannot send or receive emails), they are in the process of turning this back on. Is this part of the caller ID problem??) I also notice the outlook places a space between +44 and the start of the phone number, ie, +44 16....... Why? (it doesn't seem to make any difference when making a call). Boring anal questions I know, but it's driving me mad trying to get the thing working 😬 www.R300.net Edited by - frankyknuckles on 17 May 2006 19:01:12
  18. When I used it, the hose was just long enough to reach the radiator. Maybe Simon has sent you both pieces (he did cut the original length down). www.R300.net
