You do need to remove the plywood floor in the boot. No prob. Then, you fiddle, swear and curse a lot. I recall unbolting the bottom damper connections to the de dion tube which let you move the tube enough to get the thing in.

😬 such a varied number of opinions *wink*

 

if its a "over the top" arb , then you can jack the rear of the car up to unload the suspensiona dn then carefully insert the arb past the dampers and over the top of the diff . It is tight and for some reason I also found it easier to insert from the off side ( drivers) . You dont need to remove the diff , dampers or floor ( but removing the floor could certainly help you ).

 

you also need to insert the drop bolts beneath the roll bar mounts .
