Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted April 23, 2005 Leadership Team Share Posted April 23, 2005 That may be cm  Speak to Brian James Trailers- their normal straps are a sling system that doesn't damage wheels. Stu.
shn7
Grant, Remind me never to follow you when you're towing a seven on a trailer. I wouldn't want to rear end it as it fell off 😬. Steve.
Nifty
Steve, What Grant omitted to inform you was that, being a Carroteer, his 6-7mm strapping is actually baler twine with a breaking strain sufficient to tug a liner into port *tongue* 😬 😬 😬 Keep off the straight and narrow 😬

owelly
Screwfix do the normal 2" straps (http://www.screwfix.com/app/sfd/cat/pro.jsp?ts=93273&id=18170) but Machine Mart do the wheel ones (www.machinemart.co.uk) I just put a fixed strap onto the back of the car to the rear of the trailer then keep winching until it pulls tight down onto the suspension and off we go. The car is usually still there when we get to where we're goin  its only a game......... http://daftlardycars.mysite.wanadoo-members.co.uk/ http://www.locostbuilders.co.uk/photos.php?action=gal&user=owelly
