Mike Biddle Posted May 2 Share Posted May 2 Posting on behalf of a fellow seven owner. He is a German Gentleman resident in Germany and he's suffering with driveshaft failures, 2 so far. Car is a CSR with Ford diff and ZF LSD. His question is can he buy separate driveshaft parts rather then having to a whole new shaft every time. 7 wonders of the world Posted May 3 Share Posted May 3 They are GKN units so a decent drive haft propshaft place should be able to obtain them... Be interesting to see if these wr genuine GKN tripods r pattern aftermarket versions. AFAIK the joints have been pretty reliable the only upgrade was fro 420 race cars who were breaking tha actual. Shaft bar when warming the tyres.. and upgrade TTV bars are now used with stock joints. Best usuaful to find part numbers for inner and out joints for both Ford and BMW final drives.
