Skipper555
A slightly odd one, but would central heating water with it's rust inhibitors cause any problem if it landed on my car's paintwork? My heating system sprang a leak today and ended up dripping through to the garage and onto my car. Thankfully I cleaned it up pretty sharpish, and used some GTechniq panel wipe as well to give the body work a full clean over. But should I do anything else? rayjackson1950
I wouldn't have thought it is an issue as long as you washed it off with car wash fluid in the normal car wash way.
PlastererPete
As Ray has already said it should be fine. The only water I know of thats of concern is the water that comes out the condense pipe of the boiler as its corrosive.
oilyhands
Some systems use citric acid as a cleanser, so its possible there is some acidic residue and magnetite.
