p.mole1 Posted December 6, 2023 Share Posted December 6, 2023 I have 3 VVC pistons with rods and new Westwood liners which have covered a few thousand miles. These were supplied by Dave Andrews, second hand pistons which were checked for wear and supplied with new rings and liners. Unfortunately the engine threw number 2 rod at Angelsey due a spun bearing. If someone could find a Piston or has a spare you could make up a set ? I’m not building an engine or likely to fit new pistons unless I have a failure so not for me, but someone would be. Can a single piston & rod be bought from anywhere to make a set? Id love them but I'm trying to avoid starting a k series collection having just bought my caterham. (I've got 4 xflow engines, 2 fully built and 2 in bits cause I can't help collecting bits for projects. I've also got a zetec cause it was a potential upgrade at one point).
