Leadership Team Andrew 21 Edney Posted July 25, 2021 Leadership Team Share Posted July 25, 2021 Hope you get more than the current bid, but if it stays that low I might be tempted...
Neil220
It's great fun, my first ever Caterham but I've found another I like better so it has to go.
Leadership Team Andrew 21 Edney Posted August 1, 2021 Leadership Team Share Posted August 1, 2021 Top bid currently £8000, just half a day to go... Can't imagine it won't go up quickly in the last few minutes. Very tempted to get a login.

jonathantennantbtinternet
Anyone know what the reserve is . I picked up a VX 1 owner from new in lovely condition, no crazing or marks on the fibreglass for £8k
Leadership Team Andrew 21 Edney Posted August 1, 2021 Leadership Team Share Posted August 1, 2021 Went for £10,200 which seems like a bargain... Serves me right for not bidding.
jonathantennantbtinternet
Seemed a bit high to me. It required new fiberglass . Another one was sold at £10599 in what appeared in great condition, in BRG with yellow stripe.

Neil220
I'd say it only required new fiberglass if you wanted the car to look pristine. If you wanted to drive and enjoy a 25 year old car it didn't need anything doing to it.
paulalexander1963
Looked good value to me,if nothing needed mechanically, with such low mileage someone has a nice honest car. Personally I prefer the aluminium look, and Ford's far more saleable than Vauxhall
Neil220
Interesting comments. I was after a K series Supersport, but the one I was interested in became "unavailable", so I started searching again and found and bought this one. Then the original K series one came back into the frame!Which I preferred and bought, hence the sale of this one.For me the K series is a much nicer car to drive. With the X flow, the 160 mile journey back on the bench seat wasn't comfortable, I don't know if it was just the bench seat or the live rear axle?I also found using the handbrake in the passenger side very awkward!Alls well that ends well!
