Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted July 10, 2020 Leadership Team Share Posted July 10, 2020 Nic, my m&d bought Jaques of London croquet set 30+ years ago, at the time I thought they were mad! The reality was that it was regularly used in the summer and was a favourite of their growing up grandchildren, effectively paid for itself many times over.Stu. nic.day
Thanks Stu, I agree and I thought a few games in the garden would be great - have played a few times on holiday and we all loved it. But I am shocked at the price of the sets. they range from £40 - '000s for what basically is a few mallets, few balls and some metal hoops. I know I know quality etc - Caterhams are the best example of that!!! LOLA cheap second hand one will pop up I am sure, I cannot get my head around the price yet!!
