gin-fizz-whizz
My trusty V70 has started disgorging long lengths of hair to rival Rapunzel from the exhaust tailpipe. I know it's wadding and glass-fibre type material but opinions vary as to whether it's the back-box (cheap), middle box (more expensive) or cat (please no!).Anyone else had this one theirs or similar? SM25T
Sotting with a colleague that has had many of these Volvos. Never seen it before. Maybe an aftermarket exhaust ? Don't think it would be from the cat.
auyt
Definitely not from a cat as that’s a solid honey comb material, That looks like fiber glass wool from a muffler that the inner pipe has corroded away, sorry if that’s obvious. I found this pic of collapsed cat.
Jonathan Kay
As above.Doesn't seem to be have been reported more often with Volvos or V70s than with any other vehicle.Jonathan
