rj
Does anyone have the Rover part No - Caterham no longer stock it, so I need an alternative source.
revilla
Message from ex-member Mankee:"Rover part number is 13H6284EVA. I was supplied a QTH101 by Redline, which is a perfect fit. An alternative is a GTS1102 from Minisport, but you need to check carefully that your stat still seals properly as the rim is slightly thicker than other stats, from memory.https://www.minisport.com/gts1102-thermostat-74-degree.html"

7 wonders of the world
74...? why are you running it so cool...?Why not fit this a proven option that works very well and maintains a better engine temp too.https://rimmerbros.com/Item--i-PEL500110?gclid=EAIaIQobChMIk6ruzKml4AIVorztCh1s-gWDEAQYAyABEgLGBfD_BwE

Leadership Team SLR No.77 Posted February 5, 2019 Leadership Team Share Posted February 5, 2019 My SLR used to run a 74 deg stat and never got properly up to temperature, when I rebuilt it I fitted an 82 deg and it's been fine, the temperature gauge (Stack solid state) never shows over 90 deg. My cooling system is set up as original.Stu.
rj
I'm running a 74 degrees remote thermostat on my own - and haven't had an issue since. We'll fit it and see what happens. The 82 degrees is easy to find.

rj
Hi Chris,Thank you.In some cases it's better to source locally because of the postage costs involved. If it had failed you'd be first on my list.
