Manstein
I was thinking of removing my recently rebuilt CSR grill for a bit of titivation. However I've noticed the grill is now a one piece with the 7 logo attached to the mesh. Looks a fairly tight fit so any suggestions for removal apart from brute force. I assume the grill still comes out through the front? Thanks.
Paul Mason
My grill comes out from the back and it held into the nose on prongs with rubber grommets on. You could just drive round for a while until a pheasant decides to headbutt the front of your car, I'm sure that will pop it out!
Manstein
You can tell the locals from tourists here Paul they never brake or try to avoid pheasants the blighters always jump whichever way you go! You hear them bumping under the car and then they stand up and wander off.
Area Representative Geoff Brown Posted August 12, 2018 Area Representative Share Posted August 12, 2018 Remove spring clips from lower stubs on inside of nose cone & lift out.
Area Representative paul richards Posted August 12, 2018 Area Representative Share Posted August 12, 2018 Spring clips are poor. When I replaced my grill I drilled a couple of small holes either side of the slot so that a cable tie could be used under a little tension to hold the grill in place.
