SM25T
Can you take the knob to local car spares shop or fastener supplier and get them to help by trying stock sizes of bolt thread in the female thread ?

Drumster
Although mine's a 5-speed gear knob I can't see them being radically different (oh hang on we're talking Caterham here ). I lost the grub screw years ago but the knob is currently held in place by a cut down M5 caphead.

Member Jonathan Kay Posted June 24, 2018 Member Share Posted June 24, 2018 Edited: Crossed with CycleSi's offer. If I couldn't find one at home I'd do the same as SM25T.JonathanPS: Just the one? The archives suggest that it varies, and that some have two or three screws per knob.
elie boone
I always use 2 if possible like a nut and locknut.
