Washer bottle in the boot?

Well, I thought moving the washer bottle into the boot was a good idea. So I've spent most of the day doing so.

I have a Duratec with a Plenum chamber with the washer bottle mounted centrally underneath. It was difficult to top-up the washer bottle, not that I've ever done that. It made changing the thermostat difficult, checking the torque settings on the L/H engine mount difficult and just that it was generally cluttered around that area.

Well worth the effort.... I think.

As Jim mentioned regarding his 620R, they are indeed in the boot space now, my new 620R has it fitted in. The same place too.

Its a smaller bottle than the usual, one I think, perhaps to keep it out of the way.

On my car it appears to be fitted using one of the existing wheel arch bolts, and another one drilled trough close to the other bolt, again coming from the inside of the rear arch.

Heres some pictures of mine in situ.
