ScottR400D
Anyone know what diameter the port size is or the diameter of the throttle bodies supplied by CC? Looking at options from Titan and others there seem to be various dimensions.
John Vine
I can't be precise as I'm miles away from my R400D at the moment, but when I bought a SYN001 SK synchrometer (fits trumpets 40-55mm), I had to buy an O-ring to get it to fit my RBs. So, I'd estimate the ID of the trumpet (at a point just inside the curved rim) to be 58-60mm. My RBs were supplied by CC, but the name had been ground off. I think they're Titans.Re the RB ports, you might be able to derive the diameter from this photo.Hope this helps.JV
ScottR400D
Thanks John, it does help. I'm leaning towards AT Power shaftless butterfly TBs and trying to figure out the best size. I'm thinking 42mm will be fine, though the designation is 42mm they have oval bores, equivalent to 42mm diam.I know the head has oval inlets too but can't find the dimensions anywhere.
