Autocom Intercom Microphone Windsocks - NOW SORTED

Hi - I'm looking for a (some) Autocom - open face helmet - microphone windsocks - There like small black round foam gloves - used to come two in a pack with a velcro pad included.

They fit over the microphones to keep the wind noise down and stop the VOX activating.

At one time they were part number 43 -

If you haven't also already got a Bluetooth module to add onto your Autocom, these don't come up very often.

They're £75 new if you can find them anymore.

Nothing to do with me, just saw it when looking on ebay for the covers you're after.

I fitted the module to mine a year or two back and now the wired Autocom box takes car of driver to passenger comms (plus car to car comms via a PMR radio), while the iPhone on the Caterham dashboard can relay me my phone calls, music and satnav instructions... all via Bluetooth.

Ignore the fact that a grommet is missing. It's a 3mm plastic cover that goes over thr top of the reset button which is recessed and so not accidentally pressable anyway.

Bought mine from Maplins and secured with a tie wrap if you get short again. Useful to have spares as mic covers can get very nasty and unhygienic if not cleaned regularly!
