mischab62
Need some help. I am trying to find where the flasher relay is. I have found the fuse box but can't establish which one is the relay. I need to change it as the indicators are playing up. I have read all of the blogs and looked at countless photos but still can't see which one it is. I've got a 2014 Supersport R. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.
Member Jonathan Kay Posted January 10, 2016 Member Share Posted January 10, 2016 How many can you see? 5?I've got the 2011 Owner's Handbook. Send me a Private Mail with your email address and I'll send that and you can see if it matches.Jonathan
mischab62
I have contorted myself again in the foot well. I have from the top, 4 relays, then what looks like a blank and then another relay underneath that. I can't find anything that matches this random set up. SM25T
Take a flash photo with your phone while sitting in the passenger seat. Safer and easier that getting stuck upside down !!!
Dr Slotter
Should be the second one down (ref. current owners manual p.46).
Member Jonathan Kay Posted January 10, 2016 Member Share Posted January 10, 2016 The diagram on page 46 shows 2 banks with 3 in each bank. Are they like that in real life?Jonathan
Dr Slotter
I don't think so. I think J-R first, then A-I (as you look at the fusebox). The flasher unit is likely to be marked 'Wehrle 201 101' or similar and looks different to the others.(For future searches, similar discussion here: http://www.lotus7.club/forum/techtalk/fuse-identification-2010-superlight-r400-stack-dash). SM25T
Maybe it has just worked loose and just needs pushing home to make it work. Best to do this every 6 months as a precaution. Try that before you replace it.
Paul Deslandes
you have operated the hazard switch back and forth a few times haven't you, as these are notorious for causing indicator problems.
SM25T
I wasn't sure if this vintage car would still use the crappy old 1980s (?)rocker switch ?
