Leadership Team Midas Posted November 11, 2015 Leadership Team Share Posted November 11, 2015 I thought I might do some preventative servicing this Winter and replace the original ignition leads on my Yr 2000 K Series 1.8 VVC. (coil pack on the engine block on the drivers side of the car)Caterham show 'out of stock' so no luck there.Anyone have the right part number for a replacement set from somewhere like Rimmer Bros or magnecor?many thanks

Leadership Team Midas Posted November 11, 2015 Author Leadership Team Share Posted November 11, 2015 Update - decided to give Magnecor a quick ring for their wisdom - what a bunch of condescending ars*holes. I'm not keen to give them any money! So any other alternatives?
SM25T
Try Redline Components or Sevens & Classics.
TomB
I got a set of OEM leads from Redline a couple of years ago for around £30 I think.
Mankee
Think the part number is NGC000070. Just make sure you get VVC-specific leads as the boots are longer than normal MPI leads to account for the taller cam ladder.
Mankee
Or Formula Power are worth a shout if you want fat leads in a snazzy colour. They make OEM-spec leads as well. And custom jobs, as they've done me a few sets in the past after I've done engine swaps.http://www.formulapower.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=1_116_2955_2961&products_id=3499
