Titanium7
Probably easier to put a big chamfer on the bolt and tap it through. If it came out it'll go back in again just needs a bit of persuasion
Davidmatthews
Thanks got it back though with a bit of force But give myself a bigger problem now I think in the not knowing what to loosen on the roll bar now I've taken out the rear shock top bolt how the hell I'm I going to get that in now ....can I just jack the car up to lower it by about 5mm ? elie boone
I guess that the chassis is on axle stands, use a jack to position the eye of the skockabsorber to line up with the hole in the chassis
Titanium7
Detach the shock from the dedion and it will be easier to get the top Allen bolt back in first when it is free. Then re-attach the bottom of the shock to the dedion.Often easier to use a screwdriver to get the shock eye located in the right position first then remove and put the Allen bolt in. If the shock is tight when trying to locate use some copper grease on the rubber.
