Drumster
I'll be fitting some 215 Kumhos this year on 7" rims and can only find either 230mm or 260mm width wings. What have others done in the past?

Area Representative Richard Price Posted January 13, 2014 Area Representative Share Posted January 13, 2014 I ran standard front wings for a couple of seasons without issue. Aesthetically, they're not great, but, as Jeff says, they can be made to work. When buying wings, it's worth considering not only the width, but the radius. If the radius is too large, then it's not possible to simply shorten wing stays and mount the wing lower. (which is why I have actually made my own wings....)
Grahame W
My CSR style wings are a very very snug fit to a 215 tyre, the overall width is 225mm and are mounted on low profile wing stays By the way you can get 7.5 inch modular wheels under these and still clear the inside of the wing stay
