rivet size, please - floor rivets

Thought I might be immune to this seemingly common issue because I'm about 70kg, but apparently not. Need to source some replacement rivets, but a search in Tech Talk did not yield a definitive answer, so I ask the following question:

What size rivets are best suited to re-rivet the floor, please?

5/32 x 0.47?

5/32 x 0.53?

5/32 x 0.59?

...or some other size?

My thinking was to determine the size of the original rivets and maybe use the next longer size so that it would hopefully be less prone to breaking. But I don't know the original rivet size, anyway.

Sounds like good advice; thanks! Not sure I'll be able to find Dinitrol brand cavity wax specifically here in the U.S.A., butI can probably locate a suitable equivalent.

Does anybody know what size rivets, steel or aluminum, are best suited to re-riveting the floor, please?

Huge thanks to Peter, Stu, and Tom for your help! *thumbup* *cool*

Found the rivets in steel, 5/32" X .37" size (close enough, I reckon). Oddly, the corrosion inhibiting cavity wax seems to be the hardest thing to locate around here, simply because rust just isn't that much of a problem. But I did find some (Noxudol) readily available. Cool.

Thanks again! *wavey*
