richy
Car is three years old next month, so thought I'd better get an MOT sorted. Resulted in three advisories: 1. Slight free play in steering wheel (removable type). 2. Rear anti-roll bar ball joints (both sides) have slight play. 3. No windscreen fitted Richy
Stationary M25 Traveller
Swap your splines QR for a Rapfix type Remove your rear AR bar ... handles much better without ... esp bumpy corners. Sorted for next year.
Baz Hemsley
JUMP IN----- Ian re' AR bar is this true or just your experience. I have an ajustable one that has not been touched since set up by Arrowstar. Are you saying "take it off?"

Stationary M25 Traveller
In my case .... it was removed in ten minutes. Transformed the car. With it fitted, car would hop sideways on bumpy corners, as anti-roll bar would transmit the sudden lift from one wheel to the other, making car hop. Without it, bumps on one wheel don't affect the other. No more continual replacement of fiddly little ball joints. That's my experience anyway. Try it and see. You only have to disconnect the drop link one end to try it.
