Are there any good places for 7 mechanical repairs in Dorset or Hampshire?

What type of repairs?

 

I can't think of anyone local (I am in Ringwood). Possibly the closest is James Whiting, he is at the top of the M3? linky

Tom New of New Techniques at Bishops Waltham. He helps out a few Seveners in the Solent area and has worked on mine. He will see it through the MOT too. He owns a seven too.

Another vote for Tom New, he's done plenty on my 7 and always very helpful.

... and he's done a partial re-build on mine (the whole front end), full engine and gearbox re-build, re-wire, flat floor a few times and most of everything else. Even changes the oil for me nowadays... goog advice on how to set up and drive the car faster too ...

Tom New at New Techniques in Bishops Waltham services my car (xflow) and is a top hillclimber with a fearsome Judd V8 engined monster.

 

If you need a rolling road with carb set up, Tom Airey at Cheriton is a well respected part of the vintage racing scene and knows his stuff.
