Zetec Spark Plugs

So, POBC, what is the consensus view on the best spark plugs for a 210BHP Raceline Zetec?

 

I was thinking NGKPLTR6A-10G, but up for any other ideas...

 

 

I've not yet looked at the existing ones, but thought I'd ask the question now... they must be due for a change!

I use the ones you refer to (sprinting and touring use), but have also seen PTR5A-10 recommended as well.

So, I went with the NGKPLTR6A-10G plugs...

 

Replaced a set of Motorcraft plugs, and the different is rather obvious - the pick-up has improved (not that is was bad before) - although in this weather I'll have to wait for a real 'road test'...

Thanks for posting your results. It always good to know how things turn out.

 

In the early days of my (standard) Zetec 7 ownership, having heard such discussions in the Club, I asked a well respected 7 specialist what he recommended. He said (paraphrasing obviously) Ford had spent a fortune developing the engine, the plugs they chose were probably the ones to use.

 

What results has anyone else had 🤔
