Eugene
So, POBC, what is the consensus view on the best spark plugs for a 210BHP Raceline Zetec? I was thinking NGKPLTR6A-10G, but up for any other ideas... I've not yet looked at the existing ones, but thought I'd ask the question now... they must be due for a change! Drumster
Eugene, I use the ones you refer to (sprinting and touring use), but have also seen PTR5A-10 recommended as well.
Eugene
So, I went with the NGKPLTR6A-10G plugs... Replaced a set of Motorcraft plugs, and the different is rather obvious - the pick-up has improved (not that is was bad before) - although in this weather I'll have to wait for a real 'road test'... 😬 😬 😬
Area Representative z7 Posted January 29, 2013 Area Representative Share Posted January 29, 2013 Hi Eugene, Thanks for posting your results. It always good to know how things turn out. In the early days of my (standard) Zetec 7 ownership, having heard such discussions in the Club, I asked a well respected 7 specialist what he recommended. He said (paraphrasing obviously) Ford had spent a fortune developing the engine, the plugs they chose were probably the ones to use. What results has anyone else had 🤔 Thanks, z7 p.s. sorry for the hijack.
