Welcome

Useful sources are:

* The Assembly Guide (have you got the right one for your 7 already?)

* The Club FAQs and this specific one

* The maintenance guides from Alcester Racing 7s

But there are differences of opinion about the advisability of taking the weight of the car (jacking or stands) on the cruciform member at the front. It was recently discussed here. I don't, and, much more importantly, Johnty Lyons recommends not to.

Welcome to L7C.

Be really careful to make sure the trolley jack is on a smooth surface so that it is free to move as you raise the car.

When raising the second end of the car it is easy to tip the car off the first set of stands if the jack can't move to compensate for its motion through an arc. Same when lowering the car!

Did that make sense?
