Ozzy
I've recently got a new nosecone, which is the later type which covers the front lower wishbone bolt heads. The old nosecone was the earlier type, which didn't cover the bolt heads. The mesh protection grille fits fine, but my existing seven grille simply won't fit in the aperture! The locating lugs are in a slightly different position, so don't match the holes properly, and also it is physically larger, so even if I cut the lugs off, it still won't fit in the opening! Have CC changed this in recent years, as my existing grille is probably original, circa 98 or so. Anyone had the same problem?

Myles
Sensible suggestion: Fit the mesh grille instead. I much prefer mine that way.

Ozzy
Actually. That's just given me an idea Chop the 7 logo off the old grille, and attach it to the back of the mesh grille! I've always had the 7 grille behind the mesh (unlike most cars I've seen) as it suffers less damage.
