Kumho Supersoft Tyres - Part Worn

Recommended Posts

I have a pair of 215's in K11 Supersoft compound and pair of 235's in the same compound sitting in the garage. They have plenty of life left in them and as can be seen from recent results they are just as quick as the ZZR's.

£55 per pair or £100 for all four.

I can deliver to Wiscombe and possibly get them to Anglesey. Courier will be at cost which will be approximately £12 per pair.

Nigel - Note the 235 Rear is not allowed in Class 4

If you don't want them I'll take the rear's I have new fronts.

After checking the existing tyres on the car it would seem I may have been better off using Yoko 539's 😳

I would also confirm that the ZZR are certainly quicker for the first lap but I think there is more consistency on the latter part with the Kumho.

The Busa will be on Kumho but NEW ones *wink*

Sorry to troll this ad - but if anyone is after some new 235's then i have brand new 235 SOFT rears that I bought last year, never beeen used, be stored on the side covered up in garage since then. I doubt I will find any use for them in the near future hence...

£80 for the pair *thumbup*

Hi Simon,

I intend to use the 235 tyres in local events where there are no restrictions on tyre choice. Also can be used on my Duratec powered Mk2 Escort which is coming along nicely.

In L7, for me, I think for me there is plenty of improvement to come from the use of Khumos, (see Chris HH times) so I don't expect a tyre change for next season.

I expect to be contacting Mel soon for a new set of 215 supersofts to use next year.

I do wonder whether there is any point restricting class 4 tyre sizes (at a saving of say £10 per tyre, which last two seasons) when choice of tyre make and cost is free. All this balanced against each total event cost of not less than £200.

Cheers,

Nigel.
