I had been planning on Yokohama A539s but my local tyre man tells me these are now discontinued and have been replaced by the AS 01 - which is also a 1A tyre. Matthew Willoughby Posted March 29, 2011 Share Posted March 29, 2011 Neil, All of the front runners in Class 1 with 13" wheels have run on A539s for the last few seasons. They are very good and are a known quantity. I don't think many people have tried anything else. Try giving George Polley here a call. Alan Bowler Posted April 1, 2011 Share Posted April 1, 2011 I got 13" A539s from Fauldsport / Bookatrack a couple of seasons ago. Worth trying them if Polley can't supply. I bought a cheap set of 13" wheels for sprinting, and kept track day tyres on the 14s. Alternative for list 1A is 15" Scudo Stunner, but these are increasingly difficult to find. I am keen to get rid of the CR322 and am going to get A539s, is there a preference for the 185/60R13 or the 175/50R13 in Class 1 (apart from cost)?
