Foxy Smith
Thorn make lovely frames. What sort/size of wheels/tyres have you got on this machine and does it have pannier racks? Sounds like a bargin.
micksmetafors
Foxy, The wheel tyre combo is XT hubs (36 hole) with Mavic X719 rims and Panaracer Hi Road 26x1.5 tyres. It's got mountings for panniers but we've never used it for touring so have no racks or panniers. Foxy Smith
Hi Steve, Always fancied a tandem, unfortunately I suspect my wife feels her cycling days are behind her. However I do know someone who might be interested. He has just bought a tandem but is very keen on Thorn bikes and just might go for an upgrade!! Will see what I can do. micksmetafors
Thanks for the link. Ors has drop bars front and bar end shifters so looks a bit different to that one. Cheers,
