Ok its starting to come together

The only thin left from my last engine is the block, which has been rebored to 89mm (should give another 10 bhp)

Cosworth billet crank

Cosworth steel I beam rods

Supertech 89mm forged pistons

Pace dry sump

Cosworth H/Duty rod shells

Cosworth H/duty mains

ARP bolts through out

New high port cylinder head (Ultimate Performance phase 4 spec, this takes valve lift from 12.75mm to 14.5mm)

Bore tappets out +2mm to 33mm

Special spring platforms,bronze vavle guides

54mm Jenvey throttle bodies (they are just temporary)

Raceline cam cover

Racelines new compact bell housing and clutch

Sadev 6 speed sequential

H/duty prop

Seven speed aircraft alloy diff bracing arms

22% steering rack

R500 aero wishbones

AP racing master cylinder

Lowered floors

Lots of Samco & Mikalor

plus more to follow

Yer, I know they been around for years. But they are a pig to remove and the heads are bulky.

 

Other Duratec developers no longer use them, I believe they use standard Ford bolts. My race engine doesn't use them and it has doen two seasons. Mind you, your be making more power so no harm being safe *smokin* *thumbup*

Yep my thoughts exactly *arrowup* too much invested so on the side of max safety and durability.

In the scheme of things the whole ARP set was under £200 so with not much to keep it all together

The steel Cosworth crank was the BIG ouch, but its a work of art and should do the biz

I still cant believe Cosworth sent it out unbalanced *mad*

Mike i think its 2360cc (Ultimate Performance call it the 2.4)

8500 rpm ( i have a feeling i will shift at 8000 rpm which should stick me right back into max torque)

 

Dave hoping to get the aero guy at Red Bull to have a look re wisker angle *wink*
