Previous post recommended Halfords HOF 307 as replacement, but the current Caterham provided filter is much shorter than the Halfords one. Anyone know if there is a direct replacement from Halfords or a motor factors, or should I be ordering from Caterham ? Code of the part would be useful if anyone knows it ! 7 wonders of the world Posted May 25, 2010 Share Posted May 25, 2010 Assume your using the Raceline / CC filter head? - theres loads of room, mines on a S3 with the Raceline short bellhousing and short passenger footwell though, what are you thinking it will foul against on yours? I'm away from UK at the moment so I'll need to check but I think there was some kind of plastic 'catch tank" there ?...something that looked like it would get in the way or touch a longer oil filter anyway....hence the question Can you post a picture so I can compare what mine looks like ? Car is a 2008 2L R400 S3. It was last serviced by Caterham last summer including oil change so I'm assuming it has a Caterham supplied one on at the moment.
