Wipers hitting windscreen surround

Having put back all the gear associated with a windscreen I've noticed the wipers are hitting the screen surround at the top of their arc. I've tried moving the wipers on the spindles and tried pushing the blade arms back but this fouled operation totally. Idon't want to cut the blades down as they are on temporary loan from a friend.

 

Does anyone have any bright ideas?

The blades need trimming to your installation... Thats what the rest of us have to do...

TBH I have never had to trim the CC supplied wipers

Had to trim the ones for my SV, so guess you'll need to for the s3 too. perhpas they've canged the design since you last purchased Peter?
