andrew_r
I am building a new car and the diff has arrived without the breather assembly. Is it easy to fit the breather after I fit the diff, or do I need to wait until I get one. Thanks for your help. Regards Andrew
FlymoFraser
Do you mean the metal or plastic stub that you fit the tube onto or the tube itself? If it's the stubby, I think you'll need to fit it out of the car
ECR
I am sure that you could fit it with the diff in but before you fit the boot floor (Sierra diff assumed !)
Titanium7
Just finished my new build. Diff should have a small brass tube protruding from it. CC just sent a length of heating hose to push on. This tube is quite thick so you really need to have the boot floor out. The tube is then secured to the chassis with a cable tie or two out by the offside wheel. myothercarsa2cv
10mm fuel pipe for me, looped around a bit and cable tied in place. Couldn't find a coke can. Don't point it at your brakes John _________________________ myothercarsa2cv Bugsy: '82 2cv6 😬 Talloulah '08 1.6K Classic
