Steve Cragg
Oh no not more tyre questions ❗ I have recently bought some 6" and 8" - 8 spoke anthracite rims for my car as part of my upgrade plans. Initial thoughts were to go for Toyo 888 tyres but I have just looked at the Toyo web site and according to the chart they do not do a 13" tyre that fits an 8" rim. Is this right? I thought there were a lot of club members that had 888's on 13" rims. Steve Superlight #
Alex Wong1697456877
Kumho V70's come in 215/50VR13 which fits a 8" well.
Obz
Is this right? I thought there were a lot of club members that had 888's on 13" rims. There are, including me. I also know a number of people running them on the 8.5" SLR rims

Area Representative Nick Chan Posted August 29, 2007 Area Representative Share Posted August 29, 2007 What's the best option though as a general all rounder for road use where wet weather is usually a consideration? How do 888's handle standing water? Nick The BEC has gone - now onto an R400!!

Steve Cragg
What's the best prices around for 888's at the moment and where from? Steve Superlight #
rgrigsby
I'm still a CR500 fan, having used 32's and 48's the CR500's are not as grippy in the dry but wet weather performance is outstanding. I've not tried 888's though.... Rob G www.SpeedySeven.com
