tonysee
I have a colleague who is selling a 1993 rover 220 gti turbo. Is this a K series engine that would fit snugly into my se7en? Has anyone done it? or is it a different engine and not suitable? ideas, help, anything?? tony c
Tom_C
It's not a k-series, and the turbo installation is part of the exhaust manifold so would need a complete rethink to make it fit. Cheers Tom FH54WLX see here - UPDATED again
DohNut
No It is a T-series engine - it is big and heavy compared to a K but aparently dirt cheap to buy and pretty strong, easy to tune to moderate power levels Nick

F355GTS
T Series, solid, heavy and a bit prone to dropping valves Mark
andy_h
I use to have a non-turbo version. I heard the turbo stressed the engine a bit too much when using it hard. Brother-in-law had one, only for a short time as it was forever springing oil leaks. White road legal 2.0 HPC VX race car 😬
