7 number 4
Although I have done other trackdays, I am about to do my first club event at Cadwell Park on 23rd. I notice the requirement for a 'trackday rollover bar' and wonder if mine is such a thing. I had read the Low Flying articles on the subject but cannot identify my rollover bar from those discussed. The car is a 2004 S3 R300 and has a single diagonal brace. Does anyone know if this will pass muster or have I got some very hasty arrangements to make to source a double brace structure?Any input gratefully received.Ian

Area Representative Golf Juliet Tango Posted May 3, 2022 Area Representative Share Posted May 3, 2022 The diagonal bracing is vital.
Paul D
My bar does not have the diagonal brace...Would I need to replace the whole thing or can a brace be fitted to the original bar, either bolted or welded?
Area Representative paul richards Posted May 4, 2022 Area Representative Share Posted May 4, 2022 You need to replace the whole thing. Different gauge of metal is used on FIA bar.
