1989 Zetec Supersprint for sale.

After 25 years of ownership I've decided to part with my Zetec Supersprint.

Its been a huge decision but I've decided to move on to a new car.

The add is on carandclassic.co.uk or Pistonheads and easy to find.

Happy to answer any questions, car located in Stafford.

Pete

These cars re a true credit to Pete, and are always perfectly turned out, well worth looking at.  Alan

Both look lovely. I would chose the super sprint, but then I'm biased! Good luck with the sales!

25 years! What a wrench to sell it.

So the Zetec has now sold and is off to spend the rest of her days in deepest France. Very happy with the deal and she has ended up just as I wanted as a classic in France.

Brexit has played its part in the exportation of these older cars but with the right people it can still be achieved without the buyer paying too much import tax making them unviable.

Roll on next weekend when a nearly new 420 will be taking her place in the garage. Happy and Sad all at the same time.

Cheers all.

Always sad to see you car go,

I'm assuming it will be track use only or is the new keeper intending to try and keep it on UK plates..?

They are tightening up on the 6 month window now which was at one time pretty much ignored....

To be fair I could have sold the car to France about four times over, but with the engine change the registration process was a little vague. So it took the right person with the persistence to play the long game and hopefully get it through. This buyer has a garage so I believe the car will be on trade plates for a while........

With the help of a specialist French importer ( based in the uk) agent this has been a smooth transaction so far.

Car and classic was the best place to get this sold in the EU buy the way. If anyone needs the shipping agent to help a sale let me know.
