  1. As above, just after 2pm Sunday, was that Matthew or Mr Willoughby Snr? A lovely day for a blat. Missing Sylvia ☹️
  2. Hi all, From memory the superlight and superlight R both had standard chassis, but with carbon and other performance items as standard, LSD/6 speed/light flywheel/big brakes/Avon tyres. Engines where options across the range. The only chassis mods were to the R500 which had lighter front cross members initially, but as many were spec'd with windscreen it negated the weight saving so I think they reverted to standard chassis if you spec'd a windscreen. All as I say from the old grey cells, which are dying at a great rate these days!! Cheers Missing Sylvia ☹️
  3. Forgot to say at about 4:30 pm today (Fri). R Missing Sylvia ☹️
  4. Spotted K8GRS (?) and S777 *** (Blue), in Boston Lincs, me in tin top, in traffic, going the other way. Surely you were going in the wrong direction for Norfolk?? Cheers Richard Missing Sylvia ☹️
  5. Hi all, Interesting topic, and one I will hopefully be contemplating soon. Nobody has mentioned the Sigma, quite capable of the power outputs required. Is it such a non starter? Missing Sylvia ☹️
  6. Hi Charlie, I have a half hood in black for FIA bar. Purchased last year for the LeMans trip, was well tested on the way down. Sadly 7 now sold, was keeping for the next one, but could be tempted to sell now. Missing Sylvia ☹️

  10. Hi John, As Graham said above, check the coil/dizzy lead. I had the same symptoms and after a lot of checking and replacements it turned out to be the lead only half connected at the dizzy. It had made a nice black and burnt mess inside the connection. Some days it would work perfectly, but over time it got more frequent. Best of luck Richard Sylvia Silverstone on 45's
  11. That will be the rear of me 😳 in picture 1, just changing the coil - to cure a top end misfire. Cure didn't work but all is well now the dizzy cap to coil connection is clean and secure. Sylvia Silverstone on 45's
  12. Hi Mike, Had the same thing happen with my 8 spokes, just had them repainted on the inner rims. I assumed it was stones causing the problem, put it down to too many donuts! Will have to take a closer look at the ears, but can't really see how the two parts can meet? Cheers Richard Sylvia Silverstone on 45's
  13. Hi, Definately nose cone, wings and dash in carbon together with no screen, no paint, no carpets or interior panels and don't forget the ACB10 tyres. Sylvia Silverstone on 45's

Hi Rop, The figures we from the New Zealand guy who worked on the archives (sorry can't recall his name), aledgedly he spoke to Jez Coates for the details. But I have been told lots of different specs from various people at CC. 1700/1760/244 cam/A6 cam (which it can't have as the fuel pump is mechanical) I do know it has hi-lift rolling rockers 'cause Iv'e seen them! It's not that important to me as the engine is in fine health and I have no wish to change anything. It would be nice to know just what she is though. Cheers Richard Sylvia Silverstone on 45's
