Roll cage panels - are theae the inserts between the hoops on the SL cage? If so I'll have them. Stuart
  3. Shaun Witnessing your electrical issues in Wales and the fact you guys drive the car everywhere... Caterhams not exactly the dryest habitat for everything electrical, I would consider tinned and not copper wiring and the use of heat shrink terminals where possible - i.e. marine grade kit. Maybe a little overkill but at least you know that anything you replace won't ever let you down. Would imagine a decent auto electrician could provide you with this spec'. Circuit breakers definately preferable to fuses. I've just done the complete wiring loom (heavy electric, electronics and engine loom) on our work boat. Wouldn't like to have paid for my time to do it though (a full week) - ouch! Good luck Stuart
  4. Paul BJ Clubman - You have mail. Stuart
  5. Steve, I'm up the road from Mike (Park Gate (ish)). I'm new this year but can probably answer a few questions if you need. You should have a go! Good fun, friendly competition and great bunch of people. Contact in my profile if you need. Stuart
  6. Just to say thank you all for the help and advice this weekend and especially thank you to Malcolm for the wheel bearing and socket, Adrian for the torque wrench and Mark for sticking it all back together again. Shame I missed the top 10 run! Can't believe I've had a seven for 8 years and didn't think about sprinting. Never thought driving 545 miles and eight hours just to drive for 3 minutes and 20 seconds up a hill would be so worthwhile..... What a great club.
  7. Wanted to wait until I actually recieved them! 2 have 3.5mm, 2 have 4.5mm. Still not bad for the money. Contact for slicks is Colin Stevens - 07891 952125 - based Leicester. That's £40 a set plus £25 carriage.
  8. and a spare ticket here too. I'll bring with - be at Llandow on Friday.
  9. You have mail Best regards Stuart
  10. Have looked for a set of these for the last 6 months - with no success. New, 2 x 7x20 fronts and 2 x 8.2x22 rears are just over £600. Standard compound is A37 which is on the harder side of medium I think - basically a control tyre for C400. Will happily be corrected on this. Past my budget sadly! IF there are any out there then I'll have the second set please. Have given up now and bought ex formula Renault 16/53x13 slicks and will put them on 6" rims. These are second hand and 4-5mm tread left and best bit is £65 a set, delivered. They're also radial which will save me winding out 2+ degrees of camber everytime I change wheels. For trackdays / testing anyway and fed up buying multiple sets of CR500's. If anyone would like a contact tel number then I can send it on.
  11. It's the standard caterham supplied bar.....
  12. I'm in between Southampton and Portsmouth. Probably not worth the fuel to drive over here and collect but would be happy to Fedex it (probably about £25 ish) or I'm going to Llandow and Llys y Fran weekend after next and don't mind taking it there if someone else that lives your way doesn't mind taking it back. Let me know. Cheers
  13. Looking for a set of half doors for rather less than the £180 Caterham want (unless they're carbon of course). Thanks
  14. Roll over bar and boot cover to fit live axle 7 - FREE OF CHARGE - collection only or I can bring to an event for someone to pass on. Was on my previous 7 for six months and been sat in my Garage for 8 years. Time for it to go but seems a shame to throw it away.
