  2. Hi Bob,

I'll take this if its still available and we can arrange suitable collection arrangements. Where are you based?

  3. As above. The only way you could use standard hoses would be to make bits up yourself. Although it is a standard engine the layout is completely different hence bespoke hoses

The silicone hoses from third parties are not that much more expensive than the CC rubber ones and should last a lot longer which is why most people change to them when they need to replace hoses.

    The also look better *cool*

  4. My original hoses went to snot without any petrol or oil on them afaik *smile* I had some initial trouble sealing one of the hoses with the Mikalor clips but seem fine now. I got them because of a recommendation on here!

  5. Steve,

Received with thanks. Instructions and photographs look superb and very comprehensive. I am fitting a bell tower rather than external tank but will still be very useful. Not sure when I am going to be fitting mine but will let you know if I come across any useful additions/changes.

    Thanks again.

  6. What a fantastic day 😬 and now I am totally knackered. Currently on train travelling down to London for a meeting tomorrow and I feel like curling up in a ball and sleeping all the way.

Many thanks to Geoff and all concerned in not only organising a superb track day but also superb weather *cool*

  7. Gone round all the clips and given them a good nip. Also managed to get a little nip on the water rail studs. Fingers crossed looks OK now.

The hose to the water rail needed quite a bit of tightening so it probably was that but there was no sign of any leak at all. One of lifes little mysteries *smile*

  8. Have just changed to Silicone hoses ready for Cadwell on Monday as old hoses were perished.

I have car jacked up at front ready to bleed air from system but am getting a constant drip coming from the lhs of the engine dripping down on the engine mount by the exhaust. All hoses and the water rail appear dry and I can only track the source back to one of the alternator mounting bracket bolts.

Its a steady drip so unless I can find it Cadwell is looking dodgy. Any ideas?
