The dizzy that came loose?

Sorry, cannot upload the photos correctly or only upside down. Bullet mirrors are fixed with 6 mm aluminum bars and easily to be removed when changed to windscreen. The 2 bars gives enough stable view in the mirrors and there's no need for a third for stability. Centre mirror and Brooklands screens are fixed on the stanchion.

just unscrew the dizzy and turn it to the left or right until the engine idles nicely. The smoke under the tunnel is more than likely from the breather. In the old model the breather hose runs under the gearbox. Better lead this hose to a catchtank.

There is no such a problem. There are some driving around with Brooklands including me.

Definitely. A few years ago I moved the exhaust from the back to the side after a lot of complaints from the wife. Due to the turbulence at high speed, the exhaust fumes are turning inwards.

I use Castrol Classic XL 20W50. I used to work with 20W60 but no longer available anymore. ( In Belgium )

Oil pump still working? It's known that, in some cases, the distributor was left in to keep the oil pump working.

Just reading this topic. I had this problem also but solved it by changing ignition and ( very important ) bobine ( coil ? ). Do not buy the Chinese stuff. ! -
I had the same problem last year visiting Silverstone. Cleaned the whole system (put in new brackpads & break fluid ) and drove an other year without any problems until this fall. Turned out the master break cylinder isn't not working properly anymore.

Elie, that's probably not the one he's looking for. He needs the Lucas bendix type... I think. I don't know where to find that in the UK. I recently bought one here in Belgium and it was probably the last one in the country. ( Very hard to source one in my case ) -
Nicolas, how about installing a Megajolt system.? I did that 2 years ago and the improvement(s) are significant. Hope your weird problem will be solved quickly. Bas.
