Look at the order things are done in the assembly guide - some bits rotate and other bits don't.

My old DeDion tube had the pipes just tie-wrapped in place. The current DeDion is drilled to pop rivet the pipes/hoses in place.

Your power seems to be rolling off too early.

The 2001 1.8 Supersport was rated at 140bhp @6800 rpm   - OK the 140 number may not be real, but I'd have thought the rpm quoted would have been at max. power.

The electrical sender is very exposed on the K and easily damaged by a simple knock. I did this twice in 2  weeks before I realised the plates at the entrance to the carpark at work were causing the damage.

Caterham used to do a remote mounting kit for the sender to move it out of harms way. I've had no more trouble for the past 16 years
