  1. hi all, i'm currently building a super sports r and have a few question 1) When trying to fit the rear calliper carriers there is about a 6mm gap between the carriers and the 'ears' I have tightened up the hub nut but still there is a gap (same on both sides). The diveshafts seem to be fitted correctly but still no joy. Does anyone have any ideas? 2) I cant find where the Lambo sensor joins the wiring harness. any advise or picture would be welcome. 3) Wiring on the starter motor, I have a black lead attached to the terminal closest to the chassis which has a terminal ring and rubber boot on the other end. Any ideas where is meant to go. looking at it there are 2 brown leads in the car wiring harness attached to the chassis and the red power lead from the battery that is meant to attach to this terminal of the starter motor, am i correct ? should i disregard the current attached lead? Thanks for your help

  3. Hi Jonathan Just to confirm my order 2 tubes with two red bags and p clips if possible. Many Thanks for arranging Simon
  4. Hi Stub, I had the same issue but couldn’t find anywhere to do them and the one place I did wanted over £100 a wheel so ending up getting them all done in graphite, looked great!!! However I recently sold my car to seven and classics and them mentioned they used a place that did a great job on a few cars they have in stock. The company they used were close to Brands Hatch I can’t remember the name but give Callum at seven and classics a call on 01474 871184 or 07887 514548 and he’ll point you in the right direction and ensure you pay a fair price (they are a really nice helpful bunch)
  5. i'd also be interested in two bags (red ones) with the two canisters I mentioned last week. P clips also sound good if it make fitting easier with more options Do you have any pictures of the black tool roll un wrapped? Thanks Simon
  6. Hi Jonathan, Just seen this, could I take 2 if you still have some, thanks Simon

  8. Great question one I asked myself this weekend whilst filling up. I’d also be interested to know if the holes on the aero filer line up with the holes already in the sink which are used to rivet the collar in place, it would make for a very easy upgrade ?

    leaking Diff

Just completing my first winter service and I noticed a small pool of oil on the floor below my diff !!!! (LSD, 2004 k series) Upon further inspection it looks as if its leaking from the back plate the end that’s hard up against the petrol tank and its all over the end of the casing. Has anyone else had this problem? Is there a gasket between the end plate and bell housing? Does anyone have any advise ? This occurs just as we have a few nice days and I can only dream of a Blatt in the country side
  10. Im in dorking Oil pick up sorted with a little brut force, foam filter removed, but the gasket if knackered by a bodge for a previous service (before my time) Thanks for the advice on the windscreen wipers I will inspect a few at the next available opportunity.
  11. HI, after 10 years of dreaming I finally joined the caterham world some 4 months ago with a purchase of a 2004 1.8 K series, and loving it…… however having started my first winter service and upgrade I've hit a problem. Im trying to remove the foam filter and complete the gasket upgrade as recommended by DVA, but I can't remove the oil pick up pipe from the block. All the blots are removed including the 2 that hold in the oil pick up pipe but still no joy. The pipe will rotate slightly from side to side but won't drop or pull out. Does anyone have any ideas ? I also want to fit windscreen wipers, I have the correct motor and ordered the additional items needed, but have no idea where to start. does anyone have any suggestion or pictures that could help? Many thanks in advance
