  5. Currently running a K-Series with a wet sump. Considering a set of slicks for next season, however am very aware of centrifugal/centripetal forces working on the oil in the engine. I have a seven litre Apollo tank fitted and was wondering if that sort of volume wound be sufficient to keep the engine sufficiently charged with oil during long corners.... Thanks - Dave

  14. Hi all, That time of the year when we start to plan for trips for 2020. I'd be interested in expressions of interest at this stage, for a repeat of our very successful (and thrfty) 10 day tour to Spain/Portugal probably in May/June 2020. If I can get a rough idea of numbers, I can start to plan the costs for the entire trip. Will also look at insurance liability costs for a one off trip, as we'd run the trip as a Club event. So if the idea interests you, please drop me a PM or reply here. Thanks all Dave

Sorry for any inconvenience - Dave Pink Angels - 01 873 777303
  16. And the problem was......loose bolt on the A frame! Teach me not to do a complete, car up spanner check after a long trip !
  17. Felt through the steering wheel, my rear end (arse) and seem on the oil pressure gauge indicator, there’s a really fine vibration occurring that seems to be getting worse. Just completed 2500 hard miles of both motorway and mountain roads and completed a reasonably comprehensive spanner-check which revealed front wishbone bolts loose as well as near side rear suspension (lower) bolster loose...all torqued up appropriately. Am thinking prop or UJ but haven’t had the chance to jack the car up and take a look/shake. Thoughts......?
  18. will be at Beaconsfield Services at 0730 and heading off after a coffee on a twisty route to Crawley......
