  8. Ooooh Simon what are you suggesting. Alright I know the old thing has had a few bashes and biffs 😬 😬 😬 The sender was tight to unscrew and I keep forgetting my car is now 16years old so I suspect the metal decided it had had enough. But picking up on Mark and others comments above the Apollo flow and returns connect to a plate that fixes to the top of a standard filter housing. So that should separate from the housing without having to disturb the Apollo connections. If that happens it makes it a whole lot easier. However I haven't actually noticed the fixing nut for the plate. When I last looked it all seemed part of the same unit which is why I was whinging about getting it off. I am getting serious tonight!! Thanks all Roger
  9. I think it is fractured where the sender screws in. The top of the unit appears dry. I will reveal all when I get it off. Thanks Roger
  10. Thanks guy's I will check. I think the housing is cracked so if I can simply separate the plate that will be easier. Hope to see you Saturday Graham!! Roger
  11. Great, the wrong bit has just arrived from Redline!! Sorry to be clear it is the housing that receives the filter on the side of the block and mine has an Apollo tank which is fed from this housing by two 10/12mm flow and returns. It is those connection nuts that I suspect will give me some stick sitting right under the alternator and some of the manifold exhausts might be a problem. Unfortunately Redline sent the standard housing although they now think mine might be from an SV which they are sending today. Any further thoughts?? Roger7C
  12. Sorry should have said,1600 K Roger7C
  13. Casing split on oil pump ☹️ ☹️. Any tips to remove without removing half the exhausts. Not really a problem. Its getting the spanner around those flow and return connections on top, looks impossible?? Need to do it on Friday so I can join Matt and crowd at Northampton MS!! Roger7C

  16. Hi Matthew, sounds interesting can you count me in....then I can decide on the ecu!!! Roger7C
  17. Thanks Matthew. Just a thought now we have realised The first round of the championship is on Easter Sunday isn't that a little unfortunate. I know I will have problems with that and I am sure others will. Could it be moved forward or back a weekend??? Roger7C
  18. Matthew, book me a place, I can't have all these youngsters in class two getting too much of an upper hand. Easter weekend might be a problem but I will risk that at the moment!!! Is it £75 per car or person because I am sure my son will want to join us.......he reads Evo as well Hey guys this is going to be fun, meanwhile all have a great Christmas and dream about sunny Blyton in April 😬 😬 😬 Roger7C
  19. Oooops sorry Lynn, but I was agreeing and I wasn't rude *wink* Roger7C
  20. Agreed with most of what has been said. A great track for Sevens...a stretched llandow and less frustrating than Curborough!! I shall certainly be back next year when I should have a much better idea of where I am going. Practice makes perfect they say. Enjoyed the class two battle and well done to Matthew, Andrew and Graham. That young Howard got his own back for Curborough 12....aaarrrgggh Roger L's point is valid, without that shed it would have been unbearably cold and we would not have lasted for nine runs. Every track should have one. Roger7C
  21. you are a champion Mark.... YHM
