  1. Sorry meant Brakes off course!!!
  2. Congratulations Clive for a top weekend and the class two Championship. I should think that big grin is still present!! Also a big, big thank you to Paul Collins for offering the duel drive (and of course Jonathan re Adam but I will let Ads speak on that) saved our weekend. Wasn't quick enough but enjoyed the different machine, apart from the starting, the breaks......excuses excuses!!! Lovely car. See you all at the lunch.
  3. Thanks Chris, noted in Ian's garage See you all on the 6th if not before Roger
  4. Hi Chris, A space for us please Thanks Roger
  5. Rob, please ad Adam and me to you growing list if that is possible. See you there Thanks Roger
  6. Blyton of course is always good, great track, but frustrating day as it turned out. But big thanks to Danny, Philip and Paul for being so persistent and stubborn in getting me back and up and running. Brilliant, especially Dan for not giving up when I certainly had. See you all Saturday night in Rhosneigr and we will probably leave the repair as it is Danny but carrying a spare U pipe!! There is a pint or two on me. Roger
  7. but at least he has competed in four events. Lost two wheels on route to Loton so had to abandon and now I am told I might have Polymyalgia, yes exactly, what is that. Dr Malcolm come to our rescue!! Well every muscle feels like I have just run the London Marathon. Difficult to get in and out of the daily driver let alone the Caterham. Upshot is I can't do Curby, really upset but hopefully if treatment kicks in this week will be back soon, when Doc says yes!! Have fun you lucky people, see you soon. Roger
  8. Well done Matt & Katie, wonderful to hear your news. Congratulations and good luck in the future. Best wishes Roger

    Helmets

I don't like the sound of this engine refresh, I shell have to put lead in my right shoe....... Pleased it is not terminal. Roger
  10. Hi Malcolm, needed to be taxed end of this month......Mot passed so it is all go now. Remember my little misdemeanor at last Curborough when I jumped the bank on the return crossover, (seemed to earn me another golden trowel!!) well that pulled all the rivets out of the floor pan under my seat, discovered during MOT. Mark the MOT man is very kind!! Roger
  11. Solved it!!! The main beam wire into the connector at the front of the chassis is a little dodgy probably from vibration because it hangs off the frame. It is shoved in firm at the moment ready for MOT tomorrow and will be sorted properly at the w.e. Both head lights really clean and tidy now after all the fettling during my 6.30 this morning in the garage. Eldest son found the fault!! Drove to the garage in torrential rain, aero mod!! only for the guys not to be there thinking I wouldn't turn up in such bad weather!! Tomorrow 8.15 is the new time and it should be sunny. The joys of a Caterham..... Thanks everyone for all support in the hour of need. Roger
  12. Solved it!!! The full beam cable into the connector at the front of the frame under the bonnet is a bit dodgy. Possibly some strands have pulled out of the spade end, probably due to vibration at the front. They are shoved in hard at the moment ready for MOT tomorrow and they will be sorted at the w.e. I got drenched this morning driving to the garage in aero mode. Because the weather was so bad they didn't expect me to turn up!!! As one road worker wag put it, 'get a roof' Tomorrow morning is due to be fine,Harrah Thank you all for help and support in the hour of need. Roger
  13. Did that first of all assuming that would be the issue. 6.30 this morning in garage, light stripped down, cleaned earths, were a little corroded, thought that would solve it. No, looked at all connections, nothing obvious. Will put a meter on it later, but must be the connector, everything else works on that side except main beam?? Thanks guys, these things do drive you to drink!! Roger
  14. Thanks guys, still haven't cracked it but I was wrong, the flash does not work on that side so it is main beam not working on off side. The car is a 98 K series. The earth is working for the dip and they are all connected but I shall remove and clean. All connections and wires look good. I will keep you posted Roger
  15. Both head lights work on side and dip, off side goes out on main beam but works on flash??? Bonkers Any thoughts any one....Need to sort tonight!! Roger
  16. Good point Jonathan I will check this evening. MOT tomorrow!! Just a case of whether I can blag it through if I can't fix this eve. Roger
  17. Both lights work on side & Dip, off side goes out on main beam but works on flash....!! is it a fuse?? all wires look good. Any Thoughts. Roger Cumming
  18. Damn, missed this post. Can you give me a reserve slot Andrew. I am sure a few will drop out before April!! Roger
  19. The likely candidates are, Andrew W, Paul C , John B . Weird, I really don't know who I passed it to......the person must know, surely??. Well done Chris on picking up the Head role for next year. Just the man for the job!! Roger 7C
  20. Mark, that will have to change next year!!??*rotate* Roger
  21. Well done Paul for yesterday and for all your hard work through the year. I sat quite relaxed throughout the lunch seeing all those 'offs' on screen and thinking it couldn't possibly be me...........just shows when you are in the car you just never know the messages you are conveying from out of the car!!! Best to all in the out of season period Roger
